Abstract The article presents the results of studies on stability dissipative structures (DS) arising in resonant interaction laser radiation with a nonlinear medium. Resonant is modeled by one dimensional complex Ginzburg-Landau equation nonconservative cubic–quintic nonlinearity. areas existence stable DS solutions have been determined analytically using variational approach and confirmed numerically extensive numerical simulations.
